What We are Doing

Political Crossroads.....

1. Enabling and improving public visibility and understanding of deferred spending by state and local governments
2. Providing tools for everyday Americans to understand the consequences of deferred and unfunded government spending 
3. Advocating for Government Accounting rules that require each generation to pay its own way – insuring that one generation cannot force their unpaid bills onto the backs of another.
4. Advocating for Sustainable Government Spending policies seeking an end to Unfunded Liabilities – thereby protecting public employees and taxpayers alike.

 

How We Think

We all count on our government to provide the essential protections that defend our individual liberties, strengthen our social and cultural ties, promote economic prosperity and encourage fiscal stewardship.

None of this is possible, however, without the abiding confidence and trust of the American people in the integrity of their government – secure in their knowledge of a strong public treasury built upon a foundation of sound, sustainable fiscal policies.

Owing to our government’s accelerated and uncontrolled overspending in recent decades, we believe it essential to identify, resolve and reform all aspects of entitlement spending that are not fully self-funding and which rely upon deferred accounting practices that have resulted in the accumulation of massive and unsustainable debts for future generations. 

We seek reforms designed to ensure equality of opportunity between all generations of Americans, and to insure that one generation shall not be entitled to live beyond their means at the expense of another.
